Is it right for you to kick fast? As fast as Olympic swimmers that kick at a rate of 6, 8 and even 12 kicks per 2 strokes. If your goal is swimming 50m all out, this might be right for you. But if your goal is to strengthen your core muscles, elongate your back muscles, protecting your lower back, swimming long distances and speeding up your metabolism, then you should be swimming WEST.

Meaning – that the further your arm reaches sets the starting point of your stroke. Your arm is the engine of the train and your body is the wagon. Rotating your body and dragging your legs loosening up your lower back, taking care of back pain, making you float better, and most importantly, allowing you to kick pretty hard without running out your oxygen storage.
